Reviewer Eligibility

• Appropriate academic, research, technical, or professional expertise relevant to the journal's aims and scope.
• Demonstrable subject knowledge supported by research publications, scholarly activity, professional experience, or equivalent expertise.
• A current institutional or professional affiliation, where applicable.
• A verifiable scholarly profile such as ORCID, institutional profile, or other recognized academic profile, where available.
• Ability to provide objective, evidence-based, constructive, and timely peer-review reports.
• Willingness to comply with the journal's confidentiality, conflict-of-interest, research-integrity, and peer-review policies.

Reviewer Responsibilities

• Evaluate manuscripts objectively on scholarly quality, originality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and contribution to the field.
• Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts, review reports, editorial correspondence, and unpublished information.
• Declare any financial, institutional, professional, academic, collaborative, or personal conflict of interest before accepting a review assignment.
• Decline a review when appropriate expertise, independence, or sufficient time to conduct a responsible assessment is unavailable.
• Identify significant ethical or research-integrity concerns observed during review and report them confidentially to the Editorial Office.
• Avoid using unpublished information obtained through peer review for personal, professional, or competitive advantage.

Confidentiality: Reviewer identities and review-related information are handled in accordance with the journal's double-blind peer-review procedures and confidentiality requirements.

Editorial Board Membership

TEJAS Journal of Technologies and Humanitarian Science (TJTHS) welcomes expressions of interest from suitably qualified academicians, researchers, scientists, engineers, and professionals who can contribute meaningfully to the scholarly and editorial development of the journal.

Editorial Board appointments are made according to relevant subject expertise, academic or professional experience, scholarly record, institutional affiliation, editorial requirements, and the needs of the journal. Applications and nominations are subject to verification before any appointment is confirmed.

Eligibility for Editorial Board Membership

• A doctoral degree or equivalent established academic, research, technical, or professional expertise relevant to the journal's scope.
• Demonstrated research, teaching, technical, professional, or scholarly publishing experience in an appropriate discipline.
• A verifiable record of scholarly publications, research activity, or recognized professional contributions relevant to the journal.
• Current institutional or professional affiliation, where applicable.
• A verifiable ORCID identifier, institutional profile, or established scholarly profile, where available.
• Ability to provide independent, objective, confidential, and evidence-based academic or editorial advice.
• Willingness to comply with the journal's publication ethics, peer-review, confidentiality, authorship, editorial independence, and conflict-of-interest policies.

Responsibilities of Editorial Board Members

• Support the academic quality, subject relevance, integrity, and responsible development of the journal.
• Provide advice on the journal's aims and scope, editorial policies, scholarly standards, and publication practices when requested.
• Assist with the academic assessment of manuscripts within their subject expertise when formally assigned by the responsible editor.
• Recommend suitably qualified and independent reviewers where appropriate, without attempting to influence the final review or editorial decision.
• Maintain confidentiality concerning submitted manuscripts, peer-review reports, editorial correspondence, and unpublished information.
• Declare relevant financial, institutional, professional, academic, collaborative, or personal conflicts of interest.
• Decline involvement in any manuscript assessment or editorial decision where independence or impartiality may reasonably be affected.
• Support responsible authorship, ethical peer review, research integrity, and transparent scholarly communication.
• Inform the Editorial Office promptly of suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, manipulated data, or other significant research-integrity concerns.

Editorial Independence and Decision-Making

Editorial Board membership does not provide preferential treatment to manuscripts submitted by a Board member, their institution, collaborators, or associates. All manuscripts are subject to the journal's established editorial assessment and peer-review requirements.

Board members must not participate in the evaluation or editorial decision of a manuscript where a relevant conflict of interest exists. Final editorial responsibility remains with the editor authorized to make the publication decision.
