About the Policy
TEJAS Journal of Technologies and Humanitarian Science (TJTHS) (ISSN: 2583-5599) is an open-access scholarly journal committed to providing immediate and unrestricted online access to published research.
All articles published by TJTHS are freely available online immediately upon publication. Readers are not required to pay subscription, registration, or access fees to read or download published articles.
The journal does not apply an embargo period to published content. Access to the final published version is provided through the journal website from the date of publication.

Subject to the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license, users may copy, distribute, display, reproduce, adapt, translate, and build upon published material for lawful purposes, including commercial use.
Appropriate attribution should include, where applicable:
- The name of the original author or authors
- The title of the published article
- TEJAS Journal of Technologies and Humanitarian Science (TJTHS) as the publication source
- The article DOI or official publication URL
- A link to the CC BY 4.0 license
- An indication of whether changes were made
Attribution must not imply endorsement by the author, editor, or journal of the user or of the manner in which the material has been reused.
Copyright Ownership
Authors retain copyright in their articles published by TJTHS.
Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to publish the article, identify itself as the original publication venue, make the article publicly available, and maintain the published version as part of the journal's scholarly record.
Publication in the journal does not require authors to transfer ownership of copyright to the journal.
Author Sharing and Repository Deposit
In accordance with the applicable open-access license, authors may:
- Share and distribute the published version of their article
- Deposit the published version in an institutional repository
- Deposit the published version in an appropriate subject repository
- Make the published article available through a personal or institutional website
- Use material from the article in future scholarly works with appropriate citation
- Use the article for teaching, research, presentations, and academic communication
When depositing or sharing the published article, authors should retain the complete bibliographic citation and provide the DOI or official article URL where available.
Responsible Reuse
Reuse of published material must comply with the conditions of the CC BY 4.0 license and must preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
Users should not remove or misrepresent:
- Author names and attribution information
- The article title
- Journal and publication information
- DOI and citation information
- Copyright and license information
- Correction, expression of concern, or retraction notices where applicable
Translated, modified, or adapted versions must be clearly identified as such and must not be presented as an unchanged version of the original article.
Third-Party Material
Unless otherwise stated in an article, original content published by TJTHS is made available under the stated CC BY 4.0 license.
Images, figures, datasets, photographs, or other material credited to a third party may be subject to separate copyright or licensing conditions. Users are responsible for obtaining any additional permission required for material that is not covered by the article's Creative Commons license.
Article-Level License Information
License and copyright information should be presented clearly on individual article pages and in the final published article so that readers can readily identify the conditions governing access and reuse.
A standard article-level notice may be presented as follows:
© [Year] The Author(s). This article is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). You may share and adapt the material for any lawful purpose provided appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is provided, and changes, if any, are indicated.
Access to Published Content
Published articles are available through the TJTHS website without subscription barriers or article-level access charges for readers.
Open access supports the dissemination and lawful reuse of scholarly research by researchers, students, educators, professionals, institutions, policymakers, and other interested readers worldwide.
Relationship with Article Processing Charges
Open access concerns the ability of readers to access and reuse published articles and is distinct from any article processing charges that may apply to authors.
Information concerning applicable charges, payment conditions, waivers, or exemptions, where relevant, is provided separately in the journal's Article Processing Charges Policy.
