Editorial Process
TEJAS Journal of Technologies and Humanitarian Science (TJTHS) follows a transparent, structured, and ethically responsible editorial process to ensure that every published article meets the highest standards of scholarly excellence. The journal is committed to maintaining fairness, confidentiality, academic integrity, and editorial independence throughout the submission, review, and publication process. Editorial decisions are based solely on originality, scholarly merit, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
Manuscript Submission
Authors should submit manuscripts through the journal's official submission system in accordance with the prescribed author guidelines. Submission of a manuscript confirms that the work is original, has not been published previously, is not under consideration by another publication, and has received the approval of all listed authors.
Preliminary Editorial Review
Following submission, every manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment conducted by the Editorial Office. This review determines whether the manuscript falls within the journal's scope and satisfies the required standards relating to formatting, completeness of submission, ethical declarations, and overall academic presentation before proceeding to external evaluation.
Editorial Compliance Assessment
Each manuscript is evaluated for compliance with the journal's publication policies, authorship requirements, conflict of interest disclosures, research ethics standards, and editorial guidelines. Manuscripts that fail to satisfy these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or declined before entering the peer review process.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Eligible manuscripts are forwarded to independent subject specialists under a double-blind peer review system. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the evaluation process, ensuring fairness, objectivity, and unbiased scholarly assessment.
Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers assess manuscripts on the basis of originality, academic significance, methodological rigor, quality of analysis, clarity of presentation, ethical compliance, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge. Their recommendations assist the Editor in reaching a balanced and informed publication decision.
Revision Process
When revisions are requested, authors are expected to respond carefully to all reviewer observations and submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed explanation of the changes made. Revised submissions may undergo additional editorial assessment or further peer review where necessary.
Final Editorial Decision
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor after considering reviewer recommendations, editorial assessments, and the journal's publication standards. Editorial decisions are made independently without influence from commercial, institutional, financial, or personal interests.
Production and Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed through copyediting, language editing, formatting, proofreading, metadata preparation, and final quality verification before publication. Authors may review publication proofs prior to online release to ensure the accuracy of the final published version.
Editorial Independence
TJTHS maintains complete editorial independence throughout the publication process. Every editorial decision is based exclusively on scholarly quality, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's objectives, ensuring that external influences do not affect the integrity of the editorial process.
Commitment to Ethical Publishing
TEJAS Journal of Technologies and Humanitarian Science (TJTHS) supports the principles and best practice recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal remains committed to transparency, accountability, research integrity, editorial excellence, and responsible scholarly publishing throughout every stage of the editorial workflow.
