Editorial Board Membership

TJTHS invites qualified academicians, researchers, scientists, engineers, and professionals to apply for consideration as members of the Editorial Board.

Eligibility for Editorial Board Membership

• An appropriate doctoral degree or equivalent academic or professional expertise relevant to the journal’s aims and scope.
• Demonstrated research, teaching, professional, or scholarly publishing experience in a relevant subject area.
• A verifiable record of scholarly publications, research activities, or professional contributions.
• Current institutional or professional affiliation, where applicable.
• Ability to provide independent, fair, confidential, and evidence-based editorial advice.
• Willingness to disclose relevant conflicts of interest and comply with the journal’s editorial and publication policies.

Responsibilities of Editorial Board Members

• Support the academic development and subject relevance of the journal.
• Provide advice concerning journal policies, scope, editorial practices, and scholarly quality when requested.
• Assist with manuscript assessment or reviewer recommendations within their areas of expertise, where assigned.
• Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts, peer-review reports, author information, and editorial correspondence.
• Disclose any financial, professional, institutional, academic, or personal conflict of interest relating to an editorial assignment.
• Avoid participating in decisions where an independent and impartial assessment cannot be maintained.
• Support responsible authorship, research integrity, ethical peer review, and transparent scholarly communication.

Reviewer Panel Membership

TJTHS invites qualified subject experts to apply for inclusion in its reviewer panel. Reviewers assist the Editorial Office by providing independent, constructive, confidential, and evidence-based assessments of submitted scholarly manuscripts.

TJTHS follows a double-blind peer-review process. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from one another during the review process. A manuscript considered suitable after initial editorial screening is normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. An additional reviewer may be appointed where specialist assessment is required or reviewer recommendations differ substantially.

Reviewers provide recommendations to support editorial decision-making. The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or another editor formally authorized to make editorial decisions.

Eligibility for Reviewer Panel Membership

• An appropriate postgraduate or doctoral qualification, or equivalent professional expertise, in a subject relevant to the journal’s aims and scope.
• Demonstrated research, teaching, technical, or professional experience in the proposed reviewing area.
• A verifiable record of scholarly publications or relevant professional contributions.
• Ability to assess research methods, findings, interpretation, presentation, and scholarly contribution objectively.
• Ability to complete assigned reviews responsibly and communicate any delay to the Editorial Office.
• Willingness to maintain confidentiality and disclose relevant conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

• Accept review assignments only when the manuscript falls within the reviewer’s area of competence.
• Provide objective, constructive, respectful, and evidence-based comments.
• Evaluate manuscripts independently and avoid personal, discriminatory, hostile, or unsupported remarks.
• Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts, supplementary files, reviewer reports, and editorial communications.
• Disclose any relationship or circumstance that could influence, or reasonably appear to influence, impartial judgment.
• Decline an assignment where an independent assessment cannot be maintained.
• Report suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, ethical concerns, unreliable data, or other integrity issues confidentially to the Editorial Office.
• Avoid using unpublished information obtained through peer review for personal, academic, professional, or commercial advantage.
• Avoid contacting authors directly or attempting to identify anonymous authors.
• Submit the review within the agreed period or inform the Editorial Office promptly when additional time is required.

Submission of a reviewer application does not guarantee selection or assignment of manuscripts. Applications are evaluated according to subject expertise, qualifications, publication record, professional experience, and the journal’s reviewing requirements.
