Submission Policy

Authors must submit original scholarly work that has not been published previously and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal. All listed authors must have made an appropriate scholarly contribution to the manuscript, approved the submitted version, and agreed to its submission to TJTHS.

Manuscripts must comply with the journal's scope, formatting requirements, authorship criteria, ethical requirements, and submission instructions. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information, data, references, declarations, and supporting materials included in their manuscripts.

Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance. All manuscripts are subject to editorial screening and, where appropriate, independent peer review before a final publication decision is made.

Peer Review Policy

TJTHS follows a double-blind peer-review process in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from one another during the review process. Manuscripts considered suitable after initial editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

Reviewers assess manuscripts on the basis of scholarly relevance, originality, methodological appropriateness, clarity, academic contribution, ethical considerations, and overall suitability for publication. Review reports are expected to be objective, constructive, confidential, and free from inappropriate personal criticism.

Final decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection remain the responsibility of the authorized editor and are based on reviewer recommendations, editorial assessment, and compliance with journal policies.

Publication Ethics

TJTHS is committed to internationally recognized principles of responsible scholarly publishing. Its publication-ethics practices are informed by the principles and guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and other generally accepted standards of research and publication integrity.

Authors, reviewers, editors, and Editorial Board members are expected to act with honesty, confidentiality, transparency, accountability, fairness, and professional integrity throughout the editorial and publication process.

The journal addresses concerns involving authorship disputes, plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, undisclosed conflicts of interest, inappropriate manipulation of the publication process, unethical research practices, and other forms of suspected misconduct through appropriate editorial procedures.

Open Access Policy

TJTHS operates as an open access journal. Published articles are made freely available to readers without subscription charges or access barriers.

The journal supports the wider dissemination, accessibility, and responsible reuse of scholarly research. Published content is made available under the journal's applicable open access and licensing terms.

Open access refers to reader access to published scholarly content and is independent of any Article Processing Charge that may be payable by authors following acceptance.

Copyright and Licensing Policy

Authors retain copyright in their published work while granting TJTHS the rights necessary to publish, distribute, and make the article publicly available.

Unless otherwise stated for a particular article, published content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits sharing and adaptation of the work provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author or authors and source.

Authors are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission for any third-party copyrighted material included in their manuscripts.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

TJTHS charges an Article Processing Charge to support editorial administration, manuscript processing, digital publication, website operation, DOI-related publishing infrastructure, and other journal publishing activities.

The currently published APC, applicable conditions, waiver provisions, payment procedures, and related information are provided transparently on the journal's dedicated APC page.

No submission fee is charged merely for submitting a manuscript. Payment of an APC does not influence peer-review outcomes or editorial decisions. Publication decisions are based on scholarly and editorial considerations.

Authorship and Contributorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the research, preparation, analysis, interpretation, or writing of the manuscript and who accept accountability for the published work.

All authors should approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission. Individuals who contributed to the work but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged appropriately rather than listed as authors.

Changes to authorship after submission must be supported by an appropriate explanation and agreement from the concerned authors and are subject to editorial review.

Competing Interests and Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, editors, and other participants in the publication process must disclose financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing their judgment.

The existence of a competing interest does not automatically prevent publication. However, relevant interests must be disclosed transparently so that appropriate editorial safeguards can be applied.

Editors and reviewers must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a significant conflict of interest could compromise, or appear to compromise, independent decision-making.

Research Misconduct Policy

TJTHS takes allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously. Concerns involving fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, unethical research practices, inappropriate authorship, manipulated peer review, duplicate publication, or other serious integrity violations may be investigated in accordance with the journal's established procedures.

The journal may request supporting documentation, explanations, ethical approvals, original data, or other relevant information when necessary to evaluate a concern.

Editorial actions are determined according to the nature and seriousness of the issue and may include manuscript rejection, correction, retraction, withdrawal, publication of an editorial notice, or other appropriate action.

Research Data Availability

Authors should provide sufficient information to support transparency and reproducibility where appropriate to the nature of the research.

Where research data can ethically and legally be shared, authors are encouraged to make relevant datasets, supplementary materials, code, or supporting information available through appropriate repositories or other accessible mechanisms.

Where data cannot be shared because of ethical, legal, confidentiality, privacy, proprietary, or contractual restrictions, authors should provide an appropriate explanation.

Generative Artificial Intelligence Policy

Authors must use generative artificial intelligence and AI-assisted technologies responsibly and transparently in accordance with the journal's policy.

Artificial intelligence systems cannot qualify as authors because they cannot assume responsibility or accountability for scholarly work. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, citations, ethical compliance, and final content of manuscripts submitted to the journal.

Any use of generative AI that materially contributed to manuscript preparation should be disclosed where required by the journal's policy.

Article Withdrawal Policy

Requests for manuscript withdrawal must be submitted formally by the corresponding author and should include an appropriate reason for the request.

Withdrawal requests are handled according to the stage of editorial processing and the circumstances of the case. Authors should avoid simultaneous submission or unnecessary withdrawal after substantial editorial or peer-review work has been completed.

For published articles, removal or withdrawal is considered only in exceptional circumstances and is handled in accordance with the journal's applicable correction, retraction, and withdrawal procedures.

Corrections and Retractions

TJTHS is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. When material errors or significant concerns are identified after publication, the journal may issue a correction, retraction, editorial notice, or other appropriate post-publication update.

The type of action taken depends on the nature, severity, and effect of the identified issue on the reliability or integrity of the published article.

Corrections and retractions should remain clearly linked to the original publication wherever technically possible to preserve transparency in the scholarly record.

Complaints and Appeals

Authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders may submit complaints or appeals relating to editorial procedures, peer review, ethical matters, publication decisions, or other journal activities.

Complaints and appeals are considered fairly, confidentially, and without inappropriate retaliation. Editorial appeals should provide a clear explanation and, where applicable, supporting information demonstrating why reconsideration is requested.

Where a complaint involves an editor or another individual who may have a conflict of interest, the matter should be handled by an appropriate independent person within the journal's governance structure.

Digital Archiving and Website Continuity

TJTHS maintains electronic copies of its published content and takes reasonable measures to support continued online availability of journal materials.

The journal website is developed using PHP, and the website source code is managed through GitHub for technical development and version management. These technical arrangements support website administration and continuity but should not be interpreted as independent third-party scholarly preservation services.

The journal does not claim participation in an external preservation service unless such participation has been formally implemented and can be independently verified.
